Proud of 80 Years of National Achievements
On the morning of August 28, the National Achievements Exhibition, themed "80 Years of Independence – Freedom – Happiness," officially opened at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi).
This is a special political and cultural event celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (1945–2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025).
The National Achievements Exhibition is held on the largest scale ever, gathering the combined strength of 28 central ministries and agencies, 34 localities, and more than 110 leading enterprises and economic groups.
Across the vast grounds of the National Exhibition Center, more than 230 booths are arranged scientifically and modernly, creating a large-scale, multi-layered exhibition space filled with the vibrant colors of the nation.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Head of the Exhibition Organizing Committee, Nguyen Van Hung, stated: "The exhibition is not only a display event but also a space connecting past – present – future, patriotism and aspirations for development, traditional values and modern technology. It affirms the stature of the Vietnamese nation on its 80-year journey of preserving and promoting the values of Independence – Freedom – Happiness."
The Largest Exhibition Ever
The National Achievements Exhibition is organized on the largest scale ever, with the participation of 28 central ministries and agencies, 34 localities, and more than 110 major enterprises and economic groups, with more than 230 booths covering the entire area of the National Exhibition Center.
The exhibition introduces the achievements of nearly 180 sectors, from industry, agriculture, trade, science – technology to culture, education, healthcare, defense, security, and foreign affairs, etc.

With the application of modern technologies such as 3D, virtual reality, multimedia, and artificial intelligence, the exhibition not only offers the public a vivid, interactive experience but also inspires pride and emotion about the resilient and breakthrough development path of the nation.
The exhibition is organized in an open, multi-layered format over nearly 260,000m² of indoor and outdoor space at the National Exhibition Center, consisting of three main zones.
The overview display area at the Kim Quy Exhibition Hall, themed “Vietnam – Journey to a New Era,” showcases 80 years of nation-building and development achievements, Vietnamese culture and people, the identity of 54 ethnic groups, resources and specialties of the three regions, iconic architectural works, along with specialized spaces such as “95 Years of the Party’s Flag Lighting the Way,” “Prosperous Provinces, Strong Nation,” and displays of business community achievements.

The outdoor exhibition zone at the West, South, and East courtyards, themed “Integration and Development,” focuses on showcasing green industry, digital transformation, defense – security with the theme “The Sword and the Shield,” the aviation – aerospace industry with “Aspiration for the Sky,” along with art, tourism, and culinary activities.

The international zone and 12 cultural industries at Block A Exhibition Hall are organized under the theme “Integration and Creativity,” displaying unique works and products along with the space “Vietnam and the World.”
Modern technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, 3D models, and interactive screens are applied, allowing the public to enjoy a vivid and immersive experience.
